> Just in case you might have missed our big news !! Due to club commitments at County level > Our festival is now taking place over August bank holiday weekend > 28th July to 31st July ..
> Because we are now changing dates we have decided to bring our new event
> ** King of the Suir ** to the sports & family day on Sunday 31st July in Gaa Field at 2 pm
> Michael Fitzgerald will interview all kings and will announce winner during local auction that afternoon about 4pm!!
> All other side shows / stalls/kiddies events will run as usual with at least 15 new side shows on offer to people!!
> Not too late to get yourself a stall and sell on pre loved clothes / toys/ jewellery /bags / shoes etc you no longer need and make a few €€€€€€ doing so
> Also if you prefer you can donate clothes /bags/ shoes / jewellery etc to our pop up boutique stall .. Claire & Margaret would be delighted with any donations you might like to pass on to them!, Spar & C ornerstone bar will take any bags of clothes from you for this event
Trish & Alice are really looking forward to their ***dog show with a differance*** Starts at 2pm!! All classes of dogs really welcome !!

> Best dressed lady / gent will be selected on the day at random as will our Festival Princess 2016
> Presenters with Tipp Mid West Radio will be our judges in all above 3 categories !! >

> We will now hold a hugely popular *** Dancing At The Crossroads*** on the Friday nite 29th July just off the Main Street heading towards the green!! Excellent band ** Strings & Things will provide feet tapping music from 9.30 to 11.30 open air!! > Free event for everyone !! So do come along to this free event !!! >
> And remember we have Goldens fittest Townsland on the island on Saturday nite !!
> quacks on the track & 5 k walk/run & Soccer final and kiddies events to look forward to as well!! >
