Sent from my iPad > > Womens group > Delighted to say Alice Carroll will give 4 Crochet classes in our Gaa Centre Golden starting this coming Monday nite 23rd October > From 8 to 10pm > Kettle on at 8 > Class starts at 8.30 > Alice would welcome anyone in the Golden / Kilfeacle area and surrounding parishes to take part in these 4 classes > Ladies will each make a square and at the last class all squares will be sewn together and presented to the Circle Of Friends as a comfort blanket. > A lovely gesture to be able to make from our Womens group. > Need for class….4 MM crochet hook……1 X ….acrylic double knitting ball of wool. > That’s it ladies and we are all beginners at this activity so we are really looking forward to this class with Alice Carroll > Consider coming down to join us ..you will be very welcome . > Sent from my iPad

> > > Hello Ladies > Our next activity will start on Monday 23rd October. > We have Alice O Carroll giving 4 crochet classes to us? > We will each crochet a square ..and at last class all squares will be sewn together to make a blanket and this will be given to the Circle Of Friends centre as a comfort blanket > Classes will run as follows > Monday 23rd….we will be shown our first crochet stitch > Monday 6 th Nov …we will be shown our 2nd crochet stitch > Monday 20th Nov … We will be shown our 3rd crochet stitch > Monday 4th Dec …..we will sew all our squares together to make a blanket for the Circle of Friends centre Tipperary > This is such a lovely class and the fact we can do something special for the Circle Of Friends Centre is an added bonus > So ladies what u need for this class is as follows > 1 X. 4mm crochet hook > 1 X . Good luck to all involved > > Gaa Walking Track > Our walking track is in full swing at the moment with ladies / gents / children getting in excerise > It’s open each day from 8am up to 9pm > From last week our lights are back on up to 9pm > So it’s Completly safe and fully lit up for all walkers / joggers > It’s €20 per year to avail of the use of this brilliant facility and is payable to John Currivan and Michael Stapleton > This payment is to offset the cost of the lights for the winter months. > > Womens group > All our ladies are really enjoying our meeting / activities every 2 weeks. > If you are interested in joining our group we would welcome you with open arms > We are doing a flower arranging master class with Mary O Doherty at the moment and in 2 weeks time we will be starting another new activity . > This is going to be a crochet class with class leader Alice O Carroll. > We will all crochet a square and all squares will be sewn together to make a blanket and then presented to the Circle Of Friends as a comfort blanket . > A lovely idea indeed and a new Activity we will all learn and benefit from. > Sent from my iPad >
